Meet The Owners
Owner Michael Toburen was born and raised in Tulsa and has always loved animals. Blending this passion with business savvy, Michael operated a high-volume dog daycare facility for more than 10 years in his wife, Joy’s hometown of Washington, D.C.
Michael and Joy saw an opportunity in Tulsa’s growing economy and wanted their daughters to grow up closer to extended family, so in 2015 they moved to Tulsa and opened Paws on Pearl. Since then, they’ve been cultivating a fun, positive environment for dogs, employees and dog parents alike—one that’s all about enhancing dogs’ quality of life and the joy they bring their families.
